Timelines in EQ2

In EQ2, certain series of quest lines, or tradeskill areas, or leveling dungeons, or other events that you can progress through are known as timelines.  Here are links to some of the key timeline info.

Deity Timelines
By choosing and doing a series of 5 quests in a deity, you get a deity pet (after the 3rd quest) which gives you some nice buffs, and you get access to some deity pells. The spells vary from one deity to another so pick a deity that will have useful spells for how you play.

Heritage / Signature Quest Timelines
Heritage quests are all heroic in nature but that doesn't necessarily mean you can't solo them or do them with another player. They are more difficult to complete than normal quests. The rewards for Heritage quests are famous items from the original Everquest game. Signature Quests are similar in difficulty but the reward items are unique to EQII.

Dungeon Timeline
The Dungeon timeline shows the order in which you can adventure in dungeons for leveling up either with a group, a partner, or solo.

Soloing Timelines
Soloing Timelines are groups of quests for leveling solo or with a partner. Many of the quest lines tell a story and offer progressive rewards.

Language Timelines

Tradeskill Timelines
Information on leveling tradeskills and specific quest lines for certain ones.

Harvesting Timeline
Where to harvest the tier 1 through tier 10 materials for tradeskills, or leveling up harvesting skills. Or maybe you just want to get rich selling materials!

Book Timeline
If you are a book collector then this is the timeline for you! Although I have discovered there are a quite a lot more books to be found, quested, or purchased than are on this list.

Collections Timelines
Collections are built by picking up little collectible items from the ground all over the world. They look like glowing dots. When a collected group is complete, it can be handed in at any major city to the collector for a reward.
